Porsche and the Roof Transport System

Loosely translated from original German.

Roof Transport System

Base carriers as the foundation for your individual transport needs.

The entire system is durably protected against dirt, ice, and road salt thanks to the use of high-quality materials and appropriate surface protection.

The sturdy security caps with covered locks serve as theft protection not only for the roof racks but also for many of the add-on components shown on the following pages.

The base carriers of the Porsche Roof Transport System for the established models are fully adaptable to the new model series: Porsche 968, 968 Cabriolet, 911 Carrera 2, 911 Carrera 4, 911 Turbo in all variants, as well as the 928 GTS.

Plenty of space for luggage, hobbies, and sports equipment can be created on the roof of your vehicle if necessary.

The base bars of the Porsche roof rack system are the easy-to-use foundation for safe roof transport and allow a roof load of up to 75 kg for all coupes.

The necessary stability is achieved in particular by the base bars, which have a high degree of precision fit and are partly screwed onto factory-installed threads.
