1978 — The 935/78 (known as the “Moby Dick”) is the most powerful Porsche 911 ever built. Yet the racing career of this 845-hp racing car, which is fitted with a 3.2 flat six boxer engine featuring four overhead camshafts and two turbochargers, only lasts for four races.

1978 — Following victory at the 6 Hours of Silverstone and eighth overall position at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, technical problems prevent a continuation of this run of success at Vallelunga.
