For the 1998 model year Porsche are introducing the totally new Porsche 911 Carrera. This all new car is a major technological and design evolution of the worlds' most enduring and successful sportscar. The new 911 will only be available in two-wheel drive versions this model year, so four wheel drive derivatives of the outgoing 911 series (993) will also be available to meet customer demand. Obviously a key part of the Porsche range is the Boxster. Introduced in 1997 this phenomenally popular roadster enters the 1998 model year largely unchanged apart from minor interior details and an extended option equipment range.
