Saturday, June 1^st, Porsche Club Praha kept faith to its tradition and met once again at its main annual gathering in the beautiful gardens of Liblice Castle, close to the wine-city of Mělník.

This event was held in cooperation with the local Porsche Center and sponsored by many top brands.

This year, due to the floody weather, we didn't bring along Bellatrix but we joined the party via our daily driver, the faithful BMW 530d xdrive.

Contrary to the previous edition but consistently with the 2022 event, the weather was crap during most of the afternoon, just to turn sunny in late afternoon, so we could enjoy the walk-around the cars of those who were bold enough to drive their prized possession to the venue. One of them, with a gorgeous GT3 Touring, having driven more than 700 km, all the way down from Switzerland!

The event was not just about car-talking, eating, drinking and socialising ... it was also an occasion for discussing insight from car industry from tow top designer in today's car industry: Karl Neuhold, Head of Exterior Design at Škoda and the Michal Wolf, Chief Designer at AUFEER DESIGN, MATADOR Group.

Being a "cars-on-the-lawn" the atmosphere of a "concour d'elegance" was meant to be there but it was indeed jeopardised by the poor weather.

The event is designed as "open", i.e. Porsche owners outside PCP could also register. This gave a chance to PCP to introduce the club (all its lovely members, and their beautiful cars) and to have the opportunity to meet suitable new applicants and establishing useful connections with like-minded friends, for the benefit of our hobby.

As usual, a "marketing" event was financed by our sponsors: a "QR code - online" competition centered on the knowledge of the brand and his history (we came second overall, getting some nice goodies) and a "concour d'elegance" (here we could not repeat the second prize in this, since we didn't come with an eligible car)!

The afternoon program for ladies included theeading Czech make-up artist Lucia Gibodová Hrušková. She started as a model and has been a make-up artist for more than 25 years. Our ladies learnt what is the magic of good make-up, what are the current trends and what are the mistakes we most often make when applying make-up.

Florist Aneta prepared an interesting workshop for the ladies, which focused on creating a "flower box" or flower brooch.

Children, had fun in their small play corner in the castle dungeons.

The key topic of his year was nevertheless "cars and watches". On that, we were helped by the guys of Ccarollinum, which is a long-term partner for all those with a passion for the art of watchmaking, who appreciate original handwork and believe in values that last for generations.

The Czech family company Carollinum operates the only boutiques of the exclusive brands Rolex, Patek Philippe and Breitling in the Czech Republic. Selected models of watches from renowned Swiss brands, they presented during the afternoon meeting in Liblice: Rolex, Cartier, Breitling, Tudor, TAG Heuer, IWC Schaffhausen, Montblanc, Baume & Mercier, Hamilton, and MIDO.

The Triumph Speed Twin Breitling Limited Edition models be also be part of the presentation. This is a limited edition Breitling watch and Triumph motorcycle that exists in just 270 pieces worldwide

PORSCHE Czech Republic and Porsche Center Prague presented some news from the world of Porsche and help with the exhibition in the garden.

A rich choice of food as usual ... "Le Pizze di Frankie", icecream from Ferrero, drinks and the common social dinner concluded the evening.
